Where is the world heading?
This major seeks to achieve a deeper and broader understanding of the dynamics of international relations. It combines area studies in Asia, Africa, and Latin America with historical studies from the emergence of the international community in Europe to the post-Cold War era, as well as theoretical studies about diplomacy and international security, human rights and democratization, international politics and political economy, nationalism and ethnicity, as well as international development and the global environment.
