Understand the "past" and deepen one's ability to think critically.
A study of craft works and the visual arts, such as painting and sculpture, enables us to understand the "past." As we study these things in the present, an era where visuality plays a more important role than ever, students become able to deepen their ability to think and grow as human beings. The art and cultural heritage major combines both traditional art history education and education that utilizes the special assets on campus.
